Talking to The Moon
It’s a full moon, a supermoon, and finally a blue moon, also known as super blue moon.
A supermoon occurs when the full moon coincides with its closest approach to Earth during its elliptical orbit, making it appear larger and more radiant in the sky. On the other hand, a blue moon isn’t about color but rather the rare event when two full moons grace a single month due to the Moon’s slightly shorter cycle than the standard calendar month. This particular lunar occurrence holds both super and blue moon distinctions, where the Moon won’t be notably bigger but will shine with an added brilliance- NASA

the super blue moon graces the sky
with its luminous presence
a solitary wanderer
in the realm of stars
beneath this tranquil
shroud of night
i find solace
the moon
a silent companion
keeps watch over me
a celestial confidant
its ethereal face
a beacon in the darkness
with each passing night
i pour out my heart
to this distant luminary
i discern
a constant presence
in the vast expanse of twinkling stars above
in the moon’s muted glow
i unburden myself
shedding the veils
that shroud my emotions
an isolated soul
adrift in the ebb and flow of existence
i find solace in the moon’s quiet company
in a world that often speaks
without listening
where words fall on deaf ears
and understanding seems scarce
