No, you don’t know it all.

You come around like you know it all
Thinking you can break my fall
But I don’t need your unsolicited advice
It’s time for you to realize

You don’t know it all, no
You were never always right
Wise gift is knowing when to keep your mouth shut
Instead of running it everywhere in sight

I can make my own decisions
And learn from my own mistakes
You don’t need to give your opinion
That’s not what it takes

You don’t know it all, no
You were never always right
Wise gift is knowing when to keep your mouth shut
Instead of running it everywhere in sight

I’ll take my chances and make my own way
I don’t need you to lead me every day
Your advice may be well-intentioned
But it’s not always recommended

You don’t know it all, no
You were never always right
Wise gift is knowing when to keep your mouth shut
Instead of running it everywhere in sight

So keep your advice to yourself
I don’t need it to be my best
I’ll make my own path in this life
And put your opinions to rest.
