Yeah, my ass. I mean, seriously, who falls for that crap? Oh, wait…I do. Every. Single. Time. I don’t know what word is even stupider than “idiot” but I’m pretty sure it applies to me. I mean, how many times do I have to learn the hard way that there’s no such thing as a free lunch? Or in this case, $2,000 per month with just one article. Is there anyone out there who have fallen for the same trap. We should start a support group or something.

For sure these writers who claim they’re making bank with just one article per month didn’t start off that way. They probably spent years building their audience and perfecting their craft. But they conveniently leave out that part in their click-bait titles. Now, I’m not saying it’s impossible to make a living as a writer. But let’s not pretend it’s an easy road. It takes hard work, dedication, and a little bit of luck to make it in this business.

And this takes us to the story of this afternoon. So, I was feeling pretty good after attending morning mass today. The sun was shining, birds were singing, and I was headed to grab some lunch nearby. But then, as I was leaving the church, I saw the guy in the wheelchair who’s always outside asking for money.

Now, I’m not exactly a millionaire, but I had a spare 5 bucks in my pocket (that’s about USD1.12), so I figured I’d give it to him. I mean, it’s not like there was a second collection at church today or anything, so why not spread the love, right? But as I got closer, I saw that…
